I did my own experiment on POF and created a fake profile. What I found out was that it didn't matter what I said in the subject line or even in the general email when I contacted ladies. What mattered overwhelmingly was the way I looked. I contacted the same ladies I had contacted with my regular profile. Both had pictures, one of me, one of some douche I found on the net. I would get 20-30 emails a day and 95% of them gave me their numbers. The fun part is that I said exactly the same things in both. I was a "nice guy". Women don't want a nice guy, or even a considerate guy. They want a hottie. Done. It's science.
