It's women who will try three, four, five or six marriages. Men aren't that clueless. Liz Taylor comes to mind. Men like me who are older and more mature and who have already raised their kids aren't looking to father more children nor are they seeking younger women with young children yet to raise. When we state that in profiles we get accused of "just looking for sex" which is totally true. Men my age are not interested in becoming some lonely chick's project. We're already sure of our place in the world and don't require a 'handler'. I'm not that dishonest where I can place an add that promises that I'd love to help you raise your kids and live happily ever after. That's not reality. Fact is, I want to have fun. I'm a man. Sex is the most fun we can have. Prudish women will never understand this. The fact that most women don’t want to face is that most men are only seeking intimate encounters. Agreed. It’s interesting since POF and other free online dating sites are quickly approaching, if not already there, exhausting the supply of people who would never pay for dating sites, but are willing to try it for free.

Anyway, most guys on POF, who are well above average in terms of looks/body see it as little more than an intimate encounter site regardless. But that’s similar to real life for these guys anyway.
