This month, being the first of the 2014 year, has proven to be a big one in terms of various dating sites and statisticians releasing articles which attempt to analyze and in some instances take advantage of the statistical data being offered by many online dating sites. The above chart, created by David McCandles, represents the times during the year in which couples tend to break-up. The data, collected from FaceBook profiles awhile back, is quite interesting and shows two obvious peaks, right before Spring break and two weeks before Christmas. This makes sense if you think about it and there is a good explanation from Brad at the Dating Advice Guy blog for why this is.
